To coincide with the hundred year anniversary of Ford Ireland, the Local Studies Library compiled an exhibition, Ford - the Cork Connection. The exhibition focused on various aspects of the Marina plant, why Cork was chosen, years of unrest, the Ford family’s Cork ties and the closure in 1984.
